Don't Buy your CBD from the Gas Station.
Here’s what I think you know:
THC is the chemical in marijuana that gets you high. You liked it in high school.
CBD is the non-psychoactive and safe chemical often used to treat many conditions that plague us.
This may surprise you; or not. I am a proponent of using plants for well researched, medicinal purposes. I am a supporter of legalization of cannabis for private citizens. I don’t smoke bud. I don’t get high. Heck, I don’t even drink anymore so it isn’t about that. I believe demonizing a potent little plant centuries while pharmaceuticals and alcohol have literally killed thousands is the condemnation of our time. What were perceived as alternative health practices are becoming mainstream and stigmas surrounding cannabis are finally being explored.
Thus, I’ve been making a salve that is infused with CBD oil that I extracted from plants grown and cultivated without the use of pesticides or toxic fertilizers. It is the variant strong in CBD with trace amounts of THC that are well below the legal limit. In other words - it is completely non-psychoactive. You will not get high at all. I’m sorry about that but it’s true. I also infuse the salve with arnica and calendula flowers which have anti inflammatory, antibacterial, and wound healing properties. Peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils soothe respiratory and skin symptoms while the almond, coconut, and jojoba oils deeply nourish the skin. This salve is beautiful and pure. Each one is infused with approximately 7% CBD, which is strong by industry standards. This particular batch is made to be used topically and has been used to treat inflammation, eczema, chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, tension headaches/migraines, bruising, muscle soreness, anxiety, and skin irritations.
